• Research Activities
  InferSpace is actively involved with a number of research activities associated with improving techniques for the development of decision-support models from knowledge and data. Of particular interest are the use of Bayesian networks, agent-based models, evolutionary computation, and inductive logic programming.

• Publications
  • A special issue of the Journal of Machine Learning Research on fusion of domain knowledge with data for decision support was published in July 2003. Richard Dybowski was the lead editor.

  

  • Richard Dybowski was co-editor of the book "Clinical Applications of Artificial Neural Networks" (Cambridge University Press, 2001).

  

  • The book "Probabilistic Modelling in Bioinformatics and Medical Informatics", by Dirk Husmeier, Richard Dybowski and Stephen Roberts, will be published by Springer in September 2004.
